Norway: land of tunnels, bridges and ferries

Norway is a country of outstanding beauty. It's intricate network of ferries, bridges, and tunnels seamlessly connects its rugged terrain, allowing travellers to easily explore the scenic coastline, majestic fjords, and remote islands.

We first visited in Norway in August 2024 and fell in love with it. We travelled there in our demountable camper and enjoyed wandering through the colourful cities, swimming in the refreshing fjords and marvelling at the stunning views. Check out our blog post to find out more.

  • In northern parts of Norway, the sun never sets for part of each summer, giving rise to the phenomenon known as the Midnight Sun. Conversely, during winter, these areas experience the Polar Night, when the sun doesn’t rise at all.
