France: A country of fine cuisine
France is a traveller’s paradise, offering a perfect blend of rich history, stunning landscapes, world-class cuisine, and vibrant culture, making it an ideal destination for any kind of adventure. We have visited France a lot. Tony spending many trips to the alps climbing, skiing and ultra running. It was where he almost met his end when he was hit by an avalanche in 2000. Thankfully he has lived to tell the tale. Joanne spent 3 weeks living with her pen friend near Paris when she was at school. It was definitely the way to learn the language. When the children were young we spent many family holidays exploring the whole of the country in our VW Trident T4 camper, enjoying kayaking down the Ardeche and Dordogne Rivers and sampling the exquisite wines in the vinyards.
